As a landlord, it's a legal requirement to ensure all gas appliances, fittings and flues in your rental property are safe for your tenants.
Why you need a CP12
A CP12 Gas Safety Certificate (also known as a Landlord Gas Safety Recors) must be renewed every 12 months and issued by a qualified Gas Safe registered engineer.
As a landlord, you are legally required to have your gas appliances checked annually and provide your tenants with a valid CP12 Landlord Gas Safety Certificate.
